Hair Rescue

How many times have you needed to be somewhere, but didn't have time to wash your hair? Your hair is a bit on the greasy side, and is lookin' kinda stringy. Baby powder isn't doing the trick as it should, plus it is leaving behind a lovely dusty hue on your roots. Ugh! Quick, throw your hair up, and hope no one notices.
On almost a weekly basis I go through this! As a busy momma with a full daily schedule, I have to shower at night before bed. Some nights, I don't get the opportunity, so I deal with the aftermath in the morning as I am rushing about. I was skimming one day through People's Style Watch magazine and came across an article about this very issue. How to fix oily hair when you have no time to wash it ... their solution: Ojon Rub-Out Dry Cleanser from Sephora. I immediately loved the $24 price tag and headed out to get it!
Here's the product deets:
Ojon Rub-Out Dry Cleanser

What it is:
A dry cleanser that revives, refreshes, and recharges hair and scalp without water.

What it does:
Ojon® Rub-Out™ Dry Cleanser instantly "erases" impurities, toxins, excess oil, and product build-up. It increases hair volume at the root while treating the hair and scalp. Ideal between washings, as a hair pick-me-up, when you're in a rush, or when you overuse a styling product. The Dry Cleanser leaves hair cleansed, light, luminous, and healthy -looking.

What else you need to know:
Fortified with wildcrafted Ojon® oil, an ancient native secret to naturally beautiful hair from Central America's Tawira tribe, known as "the people of beautiful hair.™" Supported by clinical studies to instantly hydrate, strengthen, and restore dry or damaged hair, Rub-Out™ Dry Cleanser is appropriate for all hair types and is eco-friendly.
My review? This stuff will always have a place in my bathroom! This dry-shampoo fixes my oily roots to get me through the entire day - no need for re-applying! Now, as for leaving the hair 'cleansed', I wouldn't quite say that. When I use this product, it feels as if I sprayed hairspray in my hair and brushed it out. Not sticky, just the brushed-out hairspray feeling. Know what I am talking about? My hubby loves the smell of this stuff, so it does have a cleaner smell to it. Definitely worth giving a try!
What are some of your hair care tricks? Have any products you can't live without?

I just bought this on Saturday, I can't wait to use it now! I am not a mom but I still have a crazy schedule! I too try to do the hair wash at night, but sometimes I fall asleep and then scramble in the morning to look half way decent, lol.

Just show me the hat. I can't wash my hair at night as it is short and I end up with a Mohawk the next moring that is impossible to tame. I will keep this in mind next time I decide to brave the mall, which won't be anytime soon.

Thanks for recommending Ojon. I'll definitely try it. The only thing that works every time for me is to make an appointment to get my hair cut. I can guarantee you ... that will be a great hair day !!!

Oooh, I may have to check this stuff out!!!

I just got the Moroccan Oil from Nordstrom Rack, and it is fabulous. Leaves the hair sooooo soft.

Not to mention all the celebs use it, so it must be amazing, right?

Hmm...I love me some Sephora so anything recommended that they have in stock is a MUST buy!!!

I have to wash my hair every single freaking day if I want it to be oily and greasy free. Which of course I do if I have somewhere to go or someone is coming over. If I wash it at night, it's sometimes greasy in the morning.

I might just have to check this stuff out! I'm intrigued that it might just let me skip shampooing a day here and there.

This sounds fantastic and I am going to pick this up next time I'm at Sephora. I've tried the Oscar Blandi dry shampoo and I didn't like it. Maybe this will do the trick!
