Dana from Welcome to our world! was wondering ...
What is one of your most embarrassing moments?
I don't embarrass too easily. I have a pretty tough degree in the "I don't give a crap about what people think of me" department, however there is always one thing that leads me to a red face: Tequila. That stuff does not get along too well with me. I am talking head spinning, can't see straight, watch out cuz I am going to puke! kind of embarrassment. The kind of shame when you get up the next morning and feel like you need to call all the people you were hanging out with the night before to apologize for any out-of-character behavior and to make sure we are still friends. Yeah. Not good. And that is why I am a vodka girl.
Money no object---what is your ultimate dream car?
Hummer H2 ... tricked out, bad-ass, these mo' fo's are hot! Ain't gonna lie! Hubby currently has a black H3 and we love it! Some day we will have an H2!
The best gift you have received from your hubby?
Oh my goodness ... what doesn't my hubby give to me? He has blessed me with an incredible life! He provides for me and our boys each and every day, and he works hard to get me anything my heart desires. I am definitely spoiled, from being a stay-at-home momma to my Juicy Couture, vacations, and putting up with my shopping addiction ... he is one amazing guy!
Aside from dreaming of being a mama when you were a kid, was there anything else you ever dreamt about being when you grew up?
Okay, don't laugh. I actually wanted to be a dolphin trainer at Sea World! I went into high school with the plan to become a marine biologist. I had a fondness for orca whales and bottle-nosed dolphins, so I thought it would be amazing to work with them up close and personal. Then a high school guidance counselor told me that I had to learn the German language to continue in this particular course of study. Sigh. Who speaks German?!? So I canned that idea and moved onto dreaming of being a kindergarten or first grade teacher. I had worked in preschools, daycares, and taught swimming lessons to children of all ages. I babysat since I was 9, and by my senior year of high school, I cared for a 9-week old on a regular basis! Then I went into community college out of high school and was told I needed college algebra and microbiology classes in order to teach children under the age of 7. Ugh. I was done. All I really wanted to do was become a wife and a momma. And so be it.
