Consumer Report (and a freebie)

Saw these on an infomercial (hey, I am an insomniac, remember?), and thought to myself that this nifty little invention could save me some moolah in the bra buying department. I prefer to get my bras at Nordstrom's ... they carry my size and they just plain fit right, but we all know that Nordy's is on the spendy side. I honestly needed a racerback bra for all those summer tanks and tops, but dropping $50 to $75 on a new bra just isn't in the budget right now.
Intrigued by Strap Perfect, I sat and watched a good 15 minutes of the paid programming. I didn't order them off the TV, but I did find them in a local Walgreens and thought I'd give them a try. I figured if they didn't work, I was okay with losing the $9.99 I paid for them (because if they did indeed work, hey! I just saved some bucks!!).
I tested them out this weekend, and I must say that they did as they advertised! You take this small plastic piece, thread your bra straps through, adjust the height to where you want it on your back, and wholah! No more bra straps hanging out the side of your tank! It wasn't uncomfortable either ... I forgot I was even wearing it as I went about my day. Now as for the cleavage boost they claim (of adding a full cup size instantly) ... I can't say anything about that one. If anyone pulls their shoulders back and stand up straighter, the girls are gonna be lifted. A plastic bra strap doo-hickey isn't going to make you look any bigger. Sorry.
So, for the $9.99 you pay, you get 6 bra strap gadgets (2 clear, 2 nude and 2 black), plus 24 pieces of invisible sticky tape (in case you needed some, I guess). There are instructions, too. Definitely worth a try - in fact, I wanna send 2 of my readers one! I have a nude one and a clear one that I would love to pass along to a friend, so if you are interested, leave me a comment! I'll pick 2 people on Thursday and get them in the mail before the holiday weekend!

I am so glad those work. I almost bought them the other day but then the "as Seen on TV" stopped me. Thanks for braving it and giving us the full 411.

I have been telling the hubs that I am going to buy these for forever. I have serisous bra strap issues. I just couldn't bring myself to buy an entire box. Why do I need that many? Then whalla, you decided to share. :)

I have been wondering about this too. I have a bunch of racerback tops but have not been able to find a good bra at a decent price. I'd love to try them!

Girl go! They should pay you for doing such a great job promoting their product. I was not blessed int he "girls" dept..LOL! However, wearing a small cupped bra is necessary, just so those cute tanks "wear well." BTW love your bio pic and FB badge. VERY NICE!
