Smiling Feet!

My (probably-not-so) secret that saved my feet from swelling, and blisters, and oh-so-agonizing pain, are these babies ... Kiwi Smiling Feet Gel Insoles! Remember these hot little pumps that I scored at Ross for under $20 (reg. $90, peeps!)? When I wore them out to lunch - simply walking from the parking lot to the restaurant - I thought my feet were going to fall off! I even had to take them off under the table to make the throbbing stop.
When Valentine's Day rolled around, no matter what I was going to wear, I was going to be sure I didn't end up with blisters that night. So I went to the grocery store of all places, and saw these insoles. They are thin and narrow, and slide right inside your favorite stiletto. The gel insoles are full length (they also make them for your heels or balls of feet). I was worried they would slide around all night and be annoying by the end of the evening, but I had absolutely no issues with them. I did a lot of walking downtown in my Steve Madden's, and made it home without any pain in my feet. I then wondered if maybe the vodka helped numb my feet (ha!), but the next morning my feet were fine! Can you hear the angels singing?!?
So there you have it, girls! Sorry to keep y'all waiting an entire weekend to hear about gel inserts. It sounds like some of you have a moleskin trick that works? Please share!

I have some of the smaller inserts - but I don't wear heels that often, so they don't get much use. Love your blog design!

Visiting from SITS to welcome you on board :)

I wear heels ALL.THE.TIME. They're like a religion, or something. I even wear them when they hurt my feet-- maybe I should take your advice and try those insoles out?

Love your shoes! Love the deal you got on them even more.

See you're new to SITS-- I'm a SITSta too, glad to have you!

Haven't used the Kiwi gel insoles but I have tried the Dr. Scholls and they worked wonders! Saw someone's comment up above who said they didn't work for them but they were a godsend for me!

Moleskin has also helped.

Don't wear heels often though just cuz I've never found a comfy pair and I don't know how to walk in them. I'm not very ladylike in them.

I've been wondering if these things really work. I rarely wear big heels even though I love them, but they kill my feet. Thanks for the info!

stopping by from SITS - will definitely have to look for this brand, since I don't dust out my heels often and when I do, I tend to have feet issues...
