Kyron Hormon disappeared from his school on June 4th and still hasn't been found. This little boy's unfortunate and devastating story hits very close to home. He was dropped off at school in the morning and was reported absent by his teacher. He is 7 years old. My heart aches and I have actually cried for this child to be found. I pray for him daily.
I am posting this in hopes of bringing this little guy home. If by random chance you see him, PLEASE call 911. Any other information can be reported to the tip line at 503-261-2847.

Post Numero Six-O-Six

Wow! Over 600 posts here on dot...dot...dot... !!! I am coming up on my 2-year blogiversary (June 26th), and I have had a lot to talk about the last couple years! Ha ha!

Summertime is here (well, the calender says so, but Oregon weather still hasn't gotten the memo), which means school is out and comments are down. It is time to get outside and enjoy the heat (hopefully it will arrive here soon)!! I will drop down to 3 posts per week here on my blog - Music Mondays, What's Up Wednesdays, and Fashion Fridays. My Wednesday posts will be my miscellaneous days where you'll find product reviews, celeb gossip, giveaways, cocktail recipes, and ramblings of my week. I hope you all continue to peek in and say hi ... summer schedules definitely get a bit busier, so I will be keeping things light and fun around here!

Check in tomorrow for my Fashion Friday post ... I think I am going to dress like it is 85 degrees (it is currently 52 degrees & raining) and maybe - just maybe - the weather fairies will make the sunshine happen!

HELP! I need somebody ...

I was given a $25 gift card to Sephora for my birthday back in April, and I have no idea what to spend it on!!! I spent a half hour in the store last week, and walked out with nothing! There is so much to look at and play with, and all the different displays shine so pretty and bright! I simply can't decide on anything!
I need some help!! What are your favorite products you get at Sephora? What brands do you adore? I will send a little gift to the person who suggests the product I end up buying!!

But here is some fun news!

I ran across a website while looking for that adorable green and yellow striped top that Carrie wore to lunch after the gay wedding in Sex and the City 2. Unfortunately, I haven't found the top yet (or even a picture of it to show y'all what I am even talking about), but this website, SeenON, claims to offer "Stunning Private Sales Straight From The Sets". Anyone heard of them yet? It looks like they have done giveaways in the recent past for outfits that were actually worn on TV shows (like 90210), and that they offer these private 3-day sales to members only.

Apparently they are having an event debuting styles inspired by Sex and the City on June 14th. What's Up Wednesday?!?

I adore Will Smith and his family. Jaden is pretty fly and I am actually looking forward to taking my boys to see The Karate Kid this weekend. What is up with Willow's style though?? That poor girl needs some fashion classes! Jada mentioned on Oprah that she likes the free and spirited style her daughter possesses, but I am thinking it is a little scary.

The MTV Award for Best Kiss went to Rob and Kristen for their kiss in New Moon. As big of a Saga fan as I am, this kiss did NOT deserve to win! It was awkward and gross, and it looked painful! Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds definitely should have gotten kudos for their kiss in The Proposal. There was no grunting involved in their kiss.

JWoww is launching her new clothing line in the next couple of weeks, Filthy Couture. Ummm ... first of all, 'filthy' and 'couture' just don't seem to pair well, and outside of the Dirty Jerz, I am just not sure how this clothing line is going to fly. Maybe Katy Perry will snag a few outfits for her next video?

And finally, Heidi Montag has filed for legal separation from her crazy yahoo of a husband, Spencer Pratt. Anyone else see this coming? With The Hills being in its final season, the charade must end as well. I sure hope these two got paid well to fake a marriage for this long.

Getting my wisdom tooth pulled yesterday was a biotch, but with the help of Vicodin, I am doing great today! Thanks so much for all the well wishes and sympathy! xoxo

Make You Say Ahhh ...

I am having a wisdom tooth pulled today. Definitely no fun, but I have let this one go long enough. I have had 2 removed already, and have been dragging my feet on the last two. {Sigh}
In more painful news, hubby and I have been doing abs and arms the last couple nights, and I am s.o.r.e. No pain, no gain though, right? It's a good hurt, even though I feel like my muscles have ripped apart.
Helping me through all the suffering is the excitement of seeing my boyfriend in just 22 more days!! Oh yeah!

I am being lazy today, hence no blog post. It is dark and raining here today (I know, what else is new?), I ate a whole Totinos Pizza all by myself for lunch (so much for detoxing today), and I am catching up on my dvr (this could take days).
I am also in the process of pairing up all you fabulous ladies who have signed up for the swap. Under the Weather ...

... and the weather is still cloudy and rainy here in Oregon. Bleh! Can someone please inform the weather fairies that it is June?!?

Holiday weekends sure do take a toll on my body! From all the food I over-consume, to the busy-ness of it all, I always need a good detox to help me recover. I caught a little cold to top it all off, so this week my goal will be to get back on track.
I am searching the web for good detox foods, and I will be getting some fresh lemons for lemon water. Anyone have any good recommendations? I am not trying to diet or lose a ton of weight ... just looking to de-bloat and purify.
